Your role

As a Senior Python Backend Developer (m/f/d) at RoomPriceGenie, you will have an exciting and challenging role at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company. This is one of our coolest roles because you'll work on the very core of our product: Our pricing algorithm. Regarding our tech stack, our BE is purely Django and Python, our FE React, and we host on AWS. Your teammates will be highly talented nerds who enjoy working with numbers. We recently ditched Scrum and Jira and switched to a lightweight project management approach that our teams love (similar to what Google does).
You will:

Develop our core pricing optimization algorithm (Pandas, Scipy).
Work in a small and highly talented team of nerds who love numbers.
Our BE is Python only
Work closely with Product and Design, taking full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Our Product Manager will also involve you in a few discovery calls with customers so you can learn why we need to build a feature so you can take full ownership. And no worries; hoteliers are lovely people.
Build up a strong engineering organization and development culture.

Your profile

5+ years of professional development experience with Python, ideally with Django
Great with numbers
Interest in statistics
Experience with Scipy, Numpy and Pandas, Polar, or similar
Excellent knowledge of software design principles

Als Data Scientist mit Python (Django) Background (m/w/d) bei RoomPriceGenie bekommst du eine spannende Position bei einem schnell wachsenden B2B SaaS Unternehmen.
Du wirst für verschiedene Aufgaben in den folgenden Bereichen verantwortlich sein:

End-to-end Feature Entwicklung. Du schreibst Production Code.
Arbeite direkt an unserem (Optimierungs-) Algorithmus zusammen mit anderen Zahlennerds :-)
Arbeite in einem kleinen Team von erfahrenen und sehr talentierten Entwicklern, die hauptsächlich Python und Django verwenden
Entwickle unsere Architektur und Software Design weiter
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Bereichen Produkt und Design, wobei du in einem schnellen, kollaborativen Umfeld von der Konzeption bis zur Bereitstellung die volle Verantwortung übernehmen.
