Your role
Our young and motivated team is distributed across the world and we have offices in Mannheim and Berlin in Germany, and Steinhausen in Switzerland. We’re looking for people who have a passion for the hospitality industry, and want to help hoteliers by increasing their revenue while making their lives easier. As a Sales Development Representative, you will support the execution of an effective prospecting strategy focused on both outbound and inbound leads. You do this by identifying and introducing qualified property owners to RoomPriceGenie and getting them in touch with our Sales Managers for a product demonstration. Additionally you will support commercial managers in administrative tasks to ensure smooth internal operations.

  • Identify prospect decision-makers, uncover critical business issues, stimulate interest and pitch RoomPriceGenie to prospects in the BeNeLux market.
  • Qualify inbound leads from website enquiries, events and marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Drive and organize meetings between leads and existing clients with the Sales/Revenue Team.
  • Make and track phone calls on a daily basis within HubSpot.
  • Connect with hoteliers daily and track your success within HubSpot.
  • Create calling lists and assign to respective team members.
  • Prepare agenda for commercial teams trainings.
  • Support commercial team supervisors in administrative tasks.
  • Enrich our Outbound marketing activities.
  • Stay current on industry issues/trends and competitive offerings.
  • Work together with the management team to make processes smoother for all parties involved.
  • Have an impact on how a young start-up further develops and can also try your own approaches and ideas.
  • Be part of the Sales Development team and work together with the teams of Customer Success, Revenue and Marketing.
Your profile
  • Dutch and English language skills.
  • Experience in the hotel/hospitality industry. 
  • A relentless drive to understand customer needs.
  • Excitement for new technology.
  • Positive, outgoing and empathetic attitude.
  • Active listening skills and the ability to find touch-points to connect with prospects.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • A team player that loves to achieve success with the team.
Nice to have(s)
  • Prior experience in a SaaS/Travel-tech company.
  • An additional language (e.g. German or Spanish).
  • Self starting and proactive approach in work.
